Guilds and Social

From StepHarvest Wiki

Guilds are StepHarvest's social co-ops: small player groups of up to 20 members that pool their walking and gold toward shared goals. Joining one is optional and never gates content, and the perks are additive bonuses only, so solo players are never penalized.

Joining a guild

  • Create your own for Gold 500. You become the leader and pick the name, description, and badge.
  • Join by invite code, an 8 character code shared by a guild leader.
  • Browse open guilds that are set to public recruitment and join one directly.

Leaving is always free, but there is a 48 hour cooldown before you can create or join another guild.

What guilds do

Step pool

A slice of every member's synced steps, 10% capped at Steps 3,000 per day, flows into the guild's shared pool to fuel its goals. The game calls this "contributed" rather than "steps."

Perk tiers

As the guild's weekly contributions climb, it unlocks perk tiers (0 to 4) that grant every member small bonuses to item quality and reduced step costs. The bonus starts at +2% quality and -1% step cost at tier 1 and scales up to +6% quality and -4% step cost at the top tier. These stack on top of your mastery bonuses.

Weekly bounties

Three guild-wide challenges refresh each week, such as total steps walked, activity runs, crops harvested, or items crafted. Hit the target and every qualifying member can claim a gold reward.

Saga projects

Three multi-part guild quests, Faire, Bounty Board, and Ascent, that members fund with gold or banked steps. Completing one unlocks lasting buffs, extra bounty slots, and the top perk tier. The leader chooses which saga to run.

Roles

Role What they can do
Leader Edits settings, starts saga projects, and can remove any member.
Officer Can remove regular members.
Member Contributes, claims bounties, and views the guild feed.

Social play

Guildmates are automatically grouped together in shared scenes like the Mine and the fishing pier, so you will often run into your guild while you play. A guild Feed logs the highlights: joins, level-ups, rare finds, and completed bounties and sagas.
