== How smelting works ==
Every bar follows the same recipe: 5 units of an ore plus 1 {{ItemLink|Coal}}, for a gold fee. The stronger the metal, the higher the fee, and the deeper your friendship with Craig needs to be before he will teach you the recipe.

A bar's quality is the average quality of the ore and coal you put in. Smelt with {{Quality|gold}} or {{Quality|pristine}} materials to get a higher grade bar.
